We are a group of volunteers who are committed to reducing the population of feral cats, and finding new homes for abandoned cats, in Baddeck and surrounding area.
In order to continue our work in helping the local cats we desperately need more funds for our spay & neuter program, for the de-flea & de-worm of abandoned cats & kittens so that they have a better chance of finding their furever home, plus the basic essentials for caring for these lost souls until they find their new family (food, litter & kitten milk).

We are a network not a shelter
Baddeck Cat Rescue Society is not a shelter; we are not a fixed location. We are located in the Baddeck area - from Middle River to St Ann's, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in the form or rescuers, foster homes, and fundraising volunteers who are dedicated to helping abandoned cats in our area. It takes much more organizing and planning to take a cat into our network because of this. Our network of foster homes shrinks and expands throughout the year and this affects how many cats we can rescue. (We always need foster homes, so if you are interested, contact us to ask for more info!)
